Indeed, im going through V8 mags for some inspiration, newest mag came today and it features a Pontiac Ventura, looks quite good ;o
is it 20k tris for car, and 6k for wheels, so it means 26k tris? or 14k for car, and 6k for wheels = 20k in total
26k total so it should be easy to have detailed cars
my GTR (JGTC) has 21k for body and 5k for wheels and just take a look at my details
26k is very nice
26k tris is more than a NFS PS/UC car has, it shouldnt be a problem to get something near photorealistic
I wont join btw, too busy with my own stuff right now

Austin Healey 100. Or a low poly artists impression at least. Would have loved to put wire wheels on it but couldnt find a way to do it inside the poly limit. These mini challenges make for terrific practice sessions.
There are still some tris left, why dont u use simple planes for the wires? Shouldnt be too highpoly and still under 26k tris.
Oh, never mind. only looked at the polies and multiplied with 2 :x You r using turbosmooth there.
