Nice drawings, anyways. When did Nissan buy out Prince? Was this the first Nissan (weren't they Datsuns back then?) Skyline, the models before this were Princes.

old joke: A guy was racing a Datsun in Australia and scored pole for the next day's race, but cooked his gearbox doing it. Not having spares, he arranged for a charter light plane to fly them out from Japan. The plane's engine loses power over water and the copilot is obliged to throw out the cargo so they can stay aloft. A yacht under them has a fellow sunbathing on deck, he goes down to the cabin and asks his girlfriend if she's got an umbrella. She asks why, he tells her: " it's funny weather, it was clear as a bell a minute ago but now its raining Datsun cogs!"

Apologies if readers are unfamiliar with idiomatic English.

My brother had a Datsun 240K (I think) and when the plate between the taillights, with the boot lock key hole, fell off, the piece left on the car had Skyline stamped into it. It was like they put one badge over another.

For those who dont know what a 240K is, its a 120Y with twice as many mistakes!!!
