[Aircraft] Lockheed SR-71 BlackBird

ok the title is a joke :)

I bought Revell's SR-71 1:72 kit and thought I would share some scans from the modelling instructions in case anyone's making details for that bird. Plus the decal sheet is included.

A 2-view is included plus a front view, but I strongly recommend using the excellent (but not detailed) Nasa's Dryden Research blueprint available here:

or in EPS format:

Enjoy

In case anyone is interested in buying this excellent kit, it is very close to the real bird, but has a major flaw: there's a square bulge on the outer sides of the tail fins. File that down to so it's flat with the rest of the fin's surface and you'll be ok. :)

it looks like an awesome kit for people who are just beginning to build plastic models; not too much building fuss - less parts, but still detailed enough. Sofar painting the cockpit is giving me headaches... cause I'm trying to make it as close to reality as possible. 8(

Great idea! I have lots of construction plans of modelkits. I'll start scanning the ones that are suitable and upload them as soon as I can. :exclamation:

:)
Well finally this is a nice bps from the mercedes site, enjoy.
