Decided this model wasn't doing much good on my HD, so I'm putting it up here for y'all to have as you please.

I work in C4D, and my export options are pretty limited, so I've put up a .obj file. Pardon the many objects, as the tree structure didn't export very well. Has no materials or textures, but the model is quite detailed, and relatively accurate.

Model has no smoothing applied, so you'll have to do that. (A few objects should not be smoothed, nosmooth will be part of the object name.) Unsmoothed polycount is a bit shy of 500,000.

You are free to modify as you see fit, or use it's parts in your own personal projects. (Panhead is a popular chopper engine.) Do whatever you want, I only ask you give credit. :D

Feel free to pm me with what you've done, love to see some new takes on it.

Uhmmm, i was thinking to use your Panhead's engine for my Cheetah but i see the link has been removed. What's happened?
Anyway, no matter, i'm modeling it by myself.

Had issues with uncredited use, redistribution, and implied ownership by other 'artists.' Guy even used it as the primary piece in his demo reel. Got fed up with it.

    I'll pm you the link.

It's been a while since I had any work showing up here and unfortunately with my super busy schedule and lots of travel I can't keep up with the news here as much as I'd like, but every time I have a chance I come here to check the new creations and models of my fellow members.
I don't want to stern any controversy here but I guess I will. twoeightnine made a generous donation to the site and his contribution was misused by some people. Although the majority of the members here (99.9%) are clean cut honest members, unfortunately there are those who pray on someone else's hard work, dedication and generosity. Those who steal and cheat should not get a pass. I don't know who those members are but if they are part of this family I would call for a punishment, not a permanent banned as a member but NO MORE ACCESS to the donation area. I don't think I speak for everybody else in here but in everybody else's name I DO APOLOGIZE to twoeightnine. Shame on those who did that and shame on those who come in here with bad intentions.

Hi, appreciate the response. No need to pull out a pitchfork or anything though. :p

I don't believe the offender is a member of this site, and he never posted the content here. (Found it on YouTube, deviantart, Vimeo, blogspot, twitter, and Facebook though.) the guy has it up for download too, so not sure how many have it now.

My decision to remove the link does not mean I have a lack of faith in the members here. Was probably just a lurker.

I wouldn't mind to give a ban. If you know the email address, I can take a look.

We have zero tolerance against model thieving here

Appreciate it, but again, I'm pretty sure the offender is not a member of this site. (Never seen his work here, don't recognize username.)
