Sketchup can result in bad game mesh as you don't nessisarily have to use triangle modelling, leaving you with a model like this
a model like this wouldn't work very well in a game. As for the wireframe created by the program, it makes meshes just like anything else...
Just a small update, i've been working on my hachi mostly, so progress is kind of slow for the rest of my models. Firstly, I started the taillights and the rear fascia or whatever it's called (the version with larger outside taillamps, lower spec ones i think had evenly sized taillamps)
Seems like a good idea, so good luck and I look foward to seeing some progress ^_^ (and a tip, rather than always starting a new model, You could finish off and improve some of Your older models such as the E21 and the 240Z)
Nice work! The poly structure seems to flow fine, and the overall designs of both cars are thesable by modern styling standards (i.e they aren't made up/cartoony like some Saints Row cars) also you should smoothen the model when presenting screenshots
